Radio-controlled model flying in the heart of Somerset
Pitney Aero Club brings together radio-controlled model aircraft enthusiasts of all skill levels. We are a small group, and enjoy model flying in a friendly environment, dedicated to the joy and excitement of flight. The Club currently has a choice of two grass-field flying sites, both within a few miles of the town of Somerton.
Our members fly a mixture of fixed-wing aircraft, some electric powered, some with i/c engines, and the occasional jet turbine.
We welcome new members, be they experienced or newcomers to the hobby.
